Matthew Herbert's Big Band heads to matter

Electronic pioneer Matthew Herbert is to appear live at matter on Wednesday 9th June, when he’ll perform with his Big Band as part of the upcoming European tour in support of One Club – the second installment of Herbert’s One Trilogy.

Herbert and his band will be joined by Eska Mtungwazi and the Goldsmiths Vocal Ensemble, who’ll provide vocals and choral backing for the performance. Eska is signed to Herbert’s renowned Accidental Records label, and is leader of the ensemble, who performed previously with Herbert’s band last year at London’s Barbican, to rave reviews.
